Nixc0rdant, I'm happy to share anything useful.  Just to be clear, I am not a programmer so I do everything with AI.  At the moment everything is with claude but I will look later at local models.  I also  follow 'knowledge packs' approach.  My initial plan was to have bfexplorer running on various staretegies and a URL to open markets and place trades.  This is working well but everything is still at testing as a few minor issues so now I'm using the AI to remove those and to increase efficiency.

Thank you.  I've been running it live today and very please with how it is working.  I still need to understand much more but bfexplorer is vey flexible.  I've not looked at running local LLM yet.  I have Ollama downloaded but my focus was in having a bot running first.  I may need a PC upgrade with LLM.  I will see.  Fortunately it is my birthday soon :-).  I tried a nimber of ai client applications.  Most I found disappointing with repetitive errors.  Claude was easiest for me to work with but I had to be very specific to ensure it did not "forget" what I was trying to do.  I made claude read and summarise information for it to use as quick reference. I learned to be very specific with wording on messages for what I wanted and also when starting a new task I asked clause to commit to memory any background research or help documents before starting.  If I started again it would take me a lot less time to have the same results. I will advise on local LLM when I have investigated.

This is going to take time for to understand and work through Stefan, and in fairness as my content is not yet useful I don't deserve free use so I have subscribed to the basic model.  Three markets will help me as I need to split feeds into a minimum of three distinct market types.  Anyway, I will document my journey as you suggest and then we will see. My expertise is commercial contracting so I have a steep learning curve.

Thank you for your response.  It will help me in the direction I go.  I am not an expert on this or a programmer (I'm a retired 68 year old having fun) but I have been trying to find help through AI including including a claude subscription as this was advised as best to use.  There are betfair apps that I could make some direct links and potentially two that I have found that could potentially use the marketid information however even the ones that suggest that they can do this have some limitations.  The initial AI advice was to use an excel dashboard which eventually was finished after many corrections however the tasks I need done are linear and because of this excel was slow.  My major focus now is learn how to use bfexplorer (so looking at a lot of youtube videos) and I will look at the script also. I have a strong impression that bfexplorer is very configurable.  Once I have that working I am happy to move to a pro subscription.  Trying to build my own betfair app is much more about having something to do and to keep my brain active.  It's nothing to do with money.  If I have something I am happy with I will pay the the £499 for for individual access and to support your continued work.  The reason I am here is to become more informed about these topics.  I know I looked a long time ago at bfexplorer but did not have the time to understand everything. All the best.
