Bfexplorer for Horse Racing
Placing a bet
The Bfexplorer for Horse Racing offers four types of user interface for placing a bet:
- Market Grid View
- My Bets
- Bfexplorer Trader
- In-Play Trader
Placing a bet - Market Grid View
To place a bet using the market grid view just click the price button for the selection you want to place a bet from the back side (left) if you want to place a back bet, or from the lay side (right) if you want to place a lay bet.
If the bet verification is active:
The Place the Bet dialog appears and you can change your bet parameters: bet type, odds and stake. If the market will go in-play you can change the bet persistence type for unmatched bet/s after the market is turned in in-play. If you really want to place this bet click on the Submit button.
Your bet will be placed and its status will be shown in the My Bets window:
Placing a bet - My Bets
To place a bet on the selection using the My Bets window set the bet type, odds and stake and click on the Submit toolbar button (the green one). If your bet was matched it appears in the Matched group otherwise in the Unmatched.
Placing a bet - In-Play Trader
The In-Play Trader is not only unique user interface for presenting offered prices and the weight of money on the market but enables to place back or lay bets on the selection. The first click either on the blue (back) or orange (lay) square selects the selection and the second click will execute bet placing.
Placing a bet - Bfexplorer Trader
To place a bet on the selection using the Bfexplorer Trader set the stake and then clicking on the corresponding row either in To Back or To Lay column place a back or lay bet, in my case I clicked on row representing odds 3.55 on the To Back column so the back bet 100@3.55 was placed.
If the bet verification is active you must confirm a dialog asking you if you really want to place this bet. After the bet is placed at betfair it appears in My Bets and if the bet is unmatched also in the outer column as this was back bet on the left side.
