Setting up the application
Before login into the betfair for the first time you should set your application settings. Clicking on menu item Application / Settings the Settings dialog appears with two tab pages: Behavior and Connection.
On the first tab page Behavior you can set the rest of settings. You should set the refresh rate in which the application will refresh the market data, as this parameter has influence on the whole application performance use this setting wisely. Set the rest of parameters so it suits your needs or just left the default settings.
On the second tab page Connection you can set your proxy configuration settings. In the case you are connected into the Internet through proxy server switch on: Use a proxy server, and fill in all proxy configuration settings.
Login
If you want to use the bfexplorer you must be registered user at betfair, if you do not have your account yet with the betfair you can register here. To login into the betfair with Bfexplorer click on menu item Application / Login, the login dialog appears and you can fill in your betfair user name and password and click on OK button to login.
If your login was successful your opened markets are loaded or the Browse Betfair markets dialog will appear so you can open markets on which you want to bet. If your login failed, have a look at Output window (View / Output) for additional information.
