Trade on betfair
The bfexplorer offers two types of trading, the manual trading or automated trading. With manual trading you decide when to open and close your position.
When trading you either make a transaction with back/lay or lay/back on one selection closing your position with equal profit or zero risk on one or other outcome.
For instance in the horse racing market laying Almass 100@2.72 and later backing the same selection 91.89@2.96 your profit if the selection wins will be 8.10 and if it loses 8.11.

The same you can do with a back/lay transaction, of course if the odds moves in your favor. You can see the odds movement in the chart, first the odds went down at the lower odds I opened my position laying Almass and then later when odds went up I would close my position by backing the selection.
You can use four types of user interface for trading:
- The market grid view with profit/loss button
- Trade the Market window for trading on one selection
- The Bfexplorer Trader for multi selection trading
- The In-Play Trader

With automated trading you set conditions on which the bet is placed and also conditions on which is closed later either with profit or loss.
Any Bot Wizard supports such automated bet placing and using the Bot Executor with the Bot Criteria editor enables you to create a set of bots with different trading strategies you can use either with the Bot Executor or with the Trade Opportunity Lookup Service.
