Menu and toolbars
The menu is a list of commands or options from which you can choose. You can choose an item from the menu by highlighting it and then pressing the Enter or Return key, or by simply pointing to the item with a mouse and clicking one of the mouse buttons.
You can see on the picture that the main menu is divided into: Application, Market, View, Tools and Help submenus grouping this way all commands or options.
The Application menu consists of following menu items:
- Login – to login into the betfair
- practice mode – to switch the application into the practice mode
- Browse Betfair Markets – to open the Browse Betfair Markets dialog for opening a market
- Settings – to set application settings
- Exit – to exit application
The Market menu menu consists of following menu items:
- Start Monitoring - to start monitoring the selected market which was paused before
- Pause Monitoring - to pause monitoring the selected market
- Stop Monitoring - to stop monitoring the selected market
- Watch/Monitor This Selection - to add the selection into the Watched Selection or to start monitoring the selected market
- Start Bot - to start execution of preset bot script on the selection
- Stop Bot - to stop execution of the bot on the selection
The Market / Bet Wizards submenu consists of following menu items:
- Place Bet - to open the Bot Wizard Place Bet Place Bet
- Place Bet and Close Position - to open the Bot Wizard Place Bet and Close Position
- Close Position - to open the Bet Wizard Close Position
- Close Position for Selection - to open the Bet Wizard Close Position for Selection
- Be The First In Queue - to open the Bot Wizard Be The First In Queue
- Auto Trader - to open the Bot Wizard Auto Trader
- Back All - to open the Bet Wizard Back All
- Lay All - to open the Bet Wizard Lay All
- Back Dutching - to open the Bet Wizard Back Dutching
- Lay Dutching - to open the Bet Wizard Lay Dutching
The Market / Excel submenu consists of following menu items:
- Start Monitoring - to start monitoring the selected market in the Microsoft Excel
- Stop Monitoring - to start monitoring the selected market in the Microsoft Excel
- Stop All - to stop monitoring all markets in the Microsoft Excel
The View menu consists of following menu items:
- My Bets - to view My Bets window
- Trade the Market - to view Trade the Market window
- Bot Executor - to view Bot Executor window
- Watched Selections - to view Watched Selections window
- My Favorite Events for Today - to view My Favorite Events for Today window
- Choose Your Selection - to view Choose Your Selection window
- Market Information - to view Market Information window
- Traded and Available - to view Traded and Available window
- Market Statistics - to view Market Statistics window
- Selection Property - to view Selection Property window
- Output - to view Output window
The Tools menu consists of following menu items:
- Bfexplorer Trader - to open Bfexplorer Trader application
- Today's Card Next Race - to open Today's Card Next Race
- Trade Opportunity Lookup - to open Trade Opportunity Lookup
- Find In Play Events - to open Find In Play Events
- My Bots - to open My Bots
- My Results - to open My Results
- My Solutions - to open My Solutions submenu
- Betfair Sites - to open Betfair Sites submenu
The Help menu consists of following menu items:
- Technical Support - to open the technical support chat window
- Betfair Service Info - to open the Betfair Service Info web page
- Contents - to open the Help contents
- Dynamic Help - to open the Dynamic Help
- About Bfexplorer - to open About Bfexplorer dialog
Toolbars
The toolbar is a series of selectable buttons that give the user an easy way to select most usable application commands. Toolbars are typically displayed as either a horizontal row or a vertical column around the edges of the application window where they are visible while the application is in use. You can execute a command associated with toolbar button by pointing to the toolbar button with a mouse and clicking on the left mouse button.
