I tried BFE2 and for me is like BFE, except "My Bets" which are differentiated by color.

The editor criteria I find most confusing, because when you highlight a parameter not see your explanation as BFE. Fundamental aspect for those who do not speak English.

Half of the Betfair Bots do not understand, perhaps because I do not understand the term defined.

In Bot Executor I imported all the bot, but none is compatible with BFE2.

Is necessary a handbook that relates features, tools, terms ...

    Regards

Bfexplorer PRO 2 is pre-release version and I published it for public allowing more betfair users test this new version for bfexplorer and get some feedback from them.

Bfexplorer PRO 2 was released for the first time on Slovak and Czech bfexplorer forum on 10 April 2011 and from that time I tried to implement all suggestions, I update Bfexplorer PRO 2 almost daily (just now I released the version 4.0.0.14385)

Yes, bot parameters have no description for now, because parameter names are changing and new ones are added or some parameters are removed.

On the other hand any bot offers default parameters I set for each bot, so even those users who have no idea what a bot behavior is, or are confused what a bot parameter could mean, are able to execute a bot just by saving those default parameters and from bot behavior on a market selection one can watch what the bot does, and so learn for what this bot can be used.

May I ask you what bot parameters are most confusing for you?

The new Bot Executor does not support old bot settings, so you cannot import PRO bot settings to PRO 2.

I now understand some parameter more because I am following the forum slovaco.

Mir graphics are very clear and didactic.

I think I understand: Chaseoddstimeout, which is like Fill or Kill and Priceimprovement, which is the bet x tics above or below the price to ensure they match. And I begin to understand: Placebetonbehind. Chain execution is explained very well with the Graphic of Stefan.

I have yet to see: Concurrent execution, Bot selector, Selection Notifier, Notification Sound.

I think I have to review items overdue forum to catch up.

Eduardo, it is really quite simple:

    1) Open a market for monitoring.

    2) Switch bfexplorer into the practice mode.

    3) Name a bot with default parameters (I set default bot parameters, so a bot should be executable with all mandatorily parameters), and start it.

Now you can watch how the bot behaves, and you can understand all parameters.

If a bot places an opening bet in allowed odds range and the bet is placed at better odds, when odds change the odds are updated. I call this process chase the odds, and in the bots offer you can find the bot with the same name.

The parameter's naming convention puts together behaviors and actions the parameter should describe.

So the ChaseOddsTimeout instructs a bot what timeout should be used between two consecutive odds updates (so when chasing odds).

English is not my mother language, therefore I will welcome any suggestions for bot parameter naming, and for parameters descriptions I could put into the Bot Criteria Editor for every parameter.

The latest version of Bfexplorer PRO 2 offers a new bot: Place pair bets. In your email you asked for Kill and Fill bot, which was implemented as a bot script for previous version of Bfexplorer PRO. What is so useful on using such Kill and Fill bot?

I have just released the latest version of Bfexplorer PRO 2 adding a new bot called: Trigger a bot by betfair starting price.

To use this bot for triggering your lay bet when betfair starting price is in allowed odds range, you need to create your action bot first (the bot that will place your bet).

    1) Open the bot criteria editor clicking on Add a new bot toolbaricon in the Bot Executor window.

    2) In the Bfexplorer Bots group select Place bet bot. Change the BetType to Lay, AllowPlacingBetInPlay to True, set your Stake. The rest of parameters can be left with default setting.

    3) Name your bot, for instance Lay a horse, and click on the OK button to save your bot setting.

    4) Click on Add a new bot icon again and in the BfexplorerCommunity Bots group select the bot named: Trigger a bot by betfair starting price

    5) Set the parmaeter MaximumOdds and MinimumOdds (in your case odds 17 and 12). Set the parameter BotToExecute to Lay a horse (the name of your action bot). Name your bot, for instance Lay BSP, and save it by clicking on the OK button.

It is clear that you can use any action bot Bfexplorer PRO 2 offers so you can create a trading bot triggered by betfair strating price as well.

It is a good idea to test your bot in the practice mode first, so click on the menu item Application / Practice mode.

Open a horse racing market for monitoring and select a selection (horse) on which you want to place your betfair SP triggered lay bet. In the Bot Executor select your bot: Lay BSP and click on Start Bot toolbar icon.

After your bot was executed it will wait till the market is turned at in-play and betfair SP is published. As soon as betfair SP is published the bot will test if betfair SP of the horse is in your allowed range, and if it is your action (Lay a horse) bot is executed immediately.

If you want to automate it you can use the tool: Execute my strategy on selections, or Trade opportunity lookup.

Betfair bot Stop at a winner

Another new bot for today "Stop at a winner" can be used with the tool Execute my strategy on selections.

You can set Profit and Loss target, the stake is calculated to get required profit per stake. After a losing bet a stake for following bet is increased by previous loss. What is interesting when using this bot is that you can combine bots for trading and betting.

You can add different events/sports to the Execute my strategy on selections.

    Stefan:

With Current bots in BFE2 would it be possible to configure to get Scratch Trade?

Or is not yet possible and I have to pay for this improvement?

What do you mean by scratch trade?
