Have anyone a long term profitable strategy

Hi all!

Would be interesting to hear how it goes for other bfexplorer users. What about profitability, do you have a long-term strategies that work?  The average level of return (as a percentage of bankroll)?

    Hi Mattias,

I Have a long term profitable strategy and it is very simple :

1- I select very fews markets I know very well

2- I never bet big amounts

3- Bfexplorer runs all day long and 6/7 days

4- If no bots fit my strategy I ask to Stefan a bestpoke solution

    Nice Hamid!

Good for you, personally I'm not very successful. I have a poor patience wich results in to high stakes relativly my bankroll. I will try to correct that (as youre rule number 2). In soccer I am a bit profitable can be due to the small stakes :) I am practising in that market.  In soccer I use the martingale system with stoploss.

I never try a martingale, in my mind when I hear the word "Martingale" it is remind me Madoff, Kerviel, Leeson, LTCM :-)

In an ordinary casino the martingale can never be profitible in long term, due to the negative expectaion value (EV). But in sportgames you will probably have positiv EV, if not all of the games some of them anyway. In a sportgame no one ever knows the reel odds (not for a specific game anyway) as you do in a casino. So thats the reason I think Martingale system could work in sportgame even in long term, but due to the exponational incresment of the stake you should always use it with a stoploss.

The Martingale system works for me with small stakes in soccer game. Earlier i read in this forum that many was trying it at horse race, I wounder how it's worked for them?

What do you mean by martingale?

Because martingale is a generic name, there is a lot of martingale system (like Dubins-Savage theory or the dutch martingale) but in general people applyes them to the casino where they know the reel odds.

I read in a French forum that the odds of the favorite football team goes down when the event is closing to start, I tried this system but without good results.

By Martingale-system I think of an inital stake (profit) if you lose the first bet, you will increase the stake for the next bet....and so on, until you hit the winner and when you Do -you will have a net profit corresponing to the initial profit.

I am realy dubious with this type of strategy. I suppose you need to have a big bankroll.

    Profit for today...

My profit for today (until now) is 2.9 % of my bankroll. I need my bankroll increase slowly and be patient from now. I invest approx. 1% of my bankroll in a bet.
